Online therapy

ONLINE communication can occur through email, text messaging, video conferencing, online chat, messaging, or internet phone. Online therapy can occur in real-time, such as in phone conversations and text messaging, or in a time-delayed format, such as through email messages

The service of online therapy allows receiving professional counseling from the comfort of your house or office. If you live in the city, you avoid traffic and safe time. If you cannot leave home due to a particular condition or situation, then this option may be beneficial for you.

According to the Journal of Affective Disorders and Cyberpsychology, Behavior and Networking Research studies indicate that telemental health is equivalent to face-to-face care in various settings and an acceptable alternative. Other studies have also shown the effectiveness of asynchronous messaging therapy.

Dr. Yazmine have been providing online therapy to clients that cannot attend in person sessions due to physical distant, moving out the country; illness, being at the hospital, having a busy work schedule; follow up with clients that have received in person services but live in other countries.

She has found that connection and progress toward client’s goal is as achievable as in person therapy.

Two Types Of Online Therapy

It is aimed at people who wish to have a professional opinion of a therapist on a specific issue or problems.

There are not standardized responses. Each question is evaluated in a completely individualized way, although it must be taken into account that the answer does not imply a therapeutic treatment.

The client obtains the professional technical point of view of a Dr. Yazmine as a therapist who brings all her knowledge and experience to provide guidance. Sometimes, the advice of and friends does not serve in the client’s own attempts to find solutions.

The client must expose the problem in the clearest and most detailed way possible, often just doing this is already helping the person to organize their ideas and approach the solution.

Client and therapist do not need to connect at the same time. They can use encrypted emails and messages.

The contact by e-mail allows elaborating the content in a more reflexive way. Emotions, thoughts or situations can be expressed accurately at the time it is needed and by dedicating as much time as desired.

Clients that have been in person session and desire to continue treatment using online therapy
